You are just finished the university or courses and you are ready to find a job. You made your resume you are registered on work websites and you are waiting.

In the internet you will find a lot of articles which telling to you how made a good resume what you should and shouldn’t to say on the interview. This article is not about that. In this article I will tell to you how you can increase the chances to find a job.

Market

You must understand what professions right now is popular and how you can get into this.

Understanding the market will give you an advantage. Popular profession giving you an insurance, if something happen with your current job then you can easily find another job.

Think wider

You know a popular profession and you starting to search a job then you found out there are only two vacancies in your city. What are the odds that they will hire you? You definitely will have competitors.

You must understand have many vacancies are open in your city, in your country. If another city has 100 open vacancies your odds to be hired very big. Consider moving for better job if you can.

Practice make us better

First 5–10 interviews will be a fail. You will be nervous, sometimes you will forget something. It’s okay.

Think about it in another way. Now you knew what questions they ask. Those questions almost always be the same. Write the answers and learn them.

Pass the interview it is a skill, every skill could be improved. All what you need is a practice.

Statistic

How many resume do you need to send? My answer is the more the better. If you send only 2 resume in a month it could take years to find a job.

Increase your chances. Send 5–10 resume every day. Don’t afraid of rejection. In the end of that process, you will have a several options and now you can choose what job fit to you.

You can’t know everything

Sometimes I see a lot of requirements for the candidate. It makes me thinking: how much time will it take to know that? It could take easily 2 years.

It’s impossible to know everything, you must have some of that knowledges and be ready to learn new stuff if you want to work at that place.

My advise is simple just try. If they want to hire you will have a probation period, at this time you will understand are you fitting for this job or not.

Lie a little bit

Sometime you will be rejected because you don’t have enough work experience. If you knew that you are ready for this job lie a little bit. Tell them that you have work experience. Make a small story where worked, what did you do there and why did you leave.

You will have a probation period, at this time you will realize that you are qualified enough for this job or not.

Extra points

Get attention to yourself. Make a list of work achievement. Tell what did you good at previous work. May be you was participate in competition you take 5 or 3 place and that made you smarter in your job.

If you don’t have achievement you can create them. Make your own blog or youtube channel relate it to your work. They should not be very good. Not a lot of people do that. They definitely will remember that.

At least ask questions about their product, about their competitors.

Always learn

Our world developing so you must develop yourself too. We always could learn something new and use that in our job.

Your supervisor could notice that and you could have a promotion.
